As a substrate for RMP coating we use hot dipped galvanized steel sheet with Zn layer min. 220-275g/ m2, or Aluminum-Zinc coated steel sheet with AZ layer min. 120-150g/m2. GI/SGL used for RMP coating undergoes a special pretreatment procedure - skin-passing, which provides for zero spangle and superior flatness of the surface. As a result, the paint applied by coil coating technology has a good adhesive power to the substrate.

The thickness of the finish coating RMP is 25 micron. Due to the strict observance of the technology, RMP is well rollformed on roofing tiles lines with the most severe bending radius, resulting in no peel-off and crack.

Due to usage of high quality paints, RMP coating is relatively strong to UV rays and weathering, which is supported by the mill’s warranty for 10 years.
